Seth grew up in Loveland , Colorado where he started showing horses
at the age of 10 in local 4-H shows. By the age of 13, Seth was training his own horses and
successfully showing in breed registry shows. Through the 11 years of 4-H, Seth was a part of
many horse activities which included: horse judging, horse bowl, horse hippology, and horse
speaking contests. Seth now donates his time to 4-H programs helping youth with horse bowl
and any other horse related activities.
Seth graduated from Colorado State University in 2005 with a degree in Equine Science and a second
degree in Business. While at CSU, Seth was a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association
from 2001-2003 where he competed successfully in the open division qualifying for zones and
nationals. In 2004, Seth joined the CSU horse judging team. The year-long program was Seth’s most
beneficial and enlightening college experience. Seth continues to judge for local open horse shows
throughout the state of Colorado.
During Seth’s college years, he also competed successfully in NRHA and AQHA Reining events. Seth
was fortunate to ride with some of the industries best reining and all-around trainers during these
years and learned many valuable training techniques. Seth also gave lessons to youth students while
in school as teaching was something he always enjoyed.
Seth now trains professionally full time and enjoys every opportunity he has working with horse and
rider. Seth hopes to achieve his AQHA and APHA judging cards in the near future.
